Thanks & Kudos to Marie Begley! |
Social Committee
Just recently, Marie Begley stepped down as the President of the Social Committee. During her tenure, and with the support of a variety of Social Committee members, the Florida Club Community and their guests have enjoyed a variety of activities. These activities included Dances, Kentucky Derby Day, Ladies Luncheons, Bingo, the Creation of the Crafts Club, Western Night, Picnics, Cruises, the St. Patrick’s’ Day party, the Golf Cart Parade, and MLB Spring Training Baseball game get togethers. Marie also organized food drives for the Stuart Food Pantry and helped with the Toys for Tots Drives.
Thanks, Marie for giving your time, your enthusiasm and for all of your contributions to our Florida Club Community. |

If you registered a few years ago, this is a reminder that the registry requires renewal every 5 years to continue to enjoy uninterrupted dinner hours. You can do that on line at www.donotcall.gov or by calling 888-382-1222. The registry accepts both land line and cell telephone numbers. |

For anyone who uses the Martin County library system, the Elf system should be a godsend. You can set your own parameters as to when you want to be notified by email that a book you have out on loan is due to be returned: 1 day prior, 2 days prior, etc. They will also notify by email when a book you have put on hold is available for pickup. They scan your library record once a day and respond by email if a parameter is met.
